Privacy Policy

Naudoti is a community marketplace for giving second-hand things a new life. This policy explains what personal data the app collects, why, and what control you have over it. The service is operated by the Naudoti team; you can reach us at ysi@fabricair.com.

What we collect

Account details: your email address, username, display name, and a securely hashed password. Your email is used to activate your account and is never shown to other users.
Profile and content: your bio, profile photo, listings, photos, posts, street find reports, causes, and sealed bids.
Messages: private chats between you and other members.
Approximate location: if you allow it, a deliberately imprecise location (rounded to roughly a kilometer, or offset by several hundred meters for listings) used for nearby street find notifications and item areas. Your exact position is never stored.
Push token: a device token so we can deliver notifications you have turned on.
Technical data: IP addresses in short-lived server logs, used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

What is public and what is private

Public to other members: your profile (username, display name, bio, photo), listings, posts, street finds, causes, and, for transparency, purchases made in support of a cause.

Private: your email, your chats (not even our moderators can read them), your sealed bid amounts (no one, including the seller, sees another person's bid), and your location beyond the coarse area described above.

How we use your data

To run the marketplace: showing listings, delivering messages, matching nearby street finds.
To send notifications you control in Settings (messages, street finds, bids, causes).
To moderate reported content and keep the community safe.

We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your data for advertising profiles.

Who we share it with

Expo push service: notifications, including message previews, are delivered through Expo's infrastructure.
Email delivery: account activation codes are sent by our mail server.
No other third parties receive your personal data, except where the law requires it.

Retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in Settings, Delete account, which permanently removes your account, listings, posts, photos, and chats. Server backups age out within 14 days. You can also request deletion at our deletion page or by email.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, ask for a copy in a portable format, or object to processing. Write to ysi@fabricair.com and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Age

Naudoti is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will note the new effective date here and let you know in the app.
